Photographing children is a restricted practice. I never photograph them wthout the permission of their parents as well as their own permission. I am still fascinated by the world of children who will continue to represent their family histories in all the obvious ways. They are not always a full representation of the families presented here, but are a few samples of the future generations that will inherit what we leave to them for better or for worse.
